Barzai Observatory Workshop

Barzai Observatory is a public outreach, instructional design and research studio dedicated to sustainable development, human ecology and racial justice in the context of the history of ideas. Founded in Tucson in 2012, we've conducted stargazing and other experiential learning missions/projects across the world and aboard ship at sea.

Our local base of operations is the Aurora-Chicagoland corridor on Council of Three Fires land.

In essence, Barzai Observatory is a community-building project focused on exploring the universe. What better way to build community than to play games and tell stories?

In that spirit, we proudly present: STARS ETERNAL, which evolved from our house science fiction tabletop game, before, through, and beyond CoVID-19.
